All about Tandy

Sometimes a beloved hobby becomes a career and that is what happened to Tandy Graham. In 1983, after decorating her new home in Pennsylvania, many neighbors and friends began to ask Tandy for help with their decorating, which led to a complete career change. She became affiliated as a sales trainer with a national accessory company while majoring in Interior Design at the Art Institute of Philadelphia. She and her family moved to Charlotte in 1986, and after winning awards for training and teaching, Tandy decided to start her own decorating business.

“Form follows function” is one of the guidelines that Tandy uses with her work. Color, style and whimsy disguise the practicality and make her customers’ rooms attractive, comfortable and elegant. Clients become friends and friends become clients. Working with Tandy, they say, is fun, educational and hassle-free. To quote one client “Tandy is great at figuring out her client’s taste rather than imposing her own and once she’s got it, she’s got it. Then she brings me things to look at that she knows I will like rather than wasting my time. She also gets it done yesterday! She hustles and is energetic. She’s great to work with! Plus she saves me time and money.”

Tandy has worked with clients in Providence Plantation, Providence Country Club, Ballantyne, Beverly Crest, Summerlake and The Peninsula as well as other homes throughout Charlotte. She is grateful to her clients and truly appreciates the trust and faith they have shown in her.

Tandy and her husband, John, have lived in Charlotte for 17 years and are fortunate to have their son and her mother living close by.
