Al's New House

It was a lot of fun helping this young man decorate his first home. The liberal use of bright color and pattern make the house appear happy and sunny no matter what the weather. He says it’s a real pleasure to come home now.

The client was open, too, to be adventuresome when it came to my suggestions about faux finishes and art. The monkeys drawn from the drapery fabric in the dining room are an example of his willingness to experiment and use humor in his home.
